THE STORY:

The Japanese attacks Pearl Harbor, bringing the USA into the Second World War. The US government then issues an order to remove and relocate all the people of Japanese heritage and put them into internment camps. The main character, Jeanne Wakatsuki and her family are on of the thousands of families to be shipped off to one of these camps. During the years at camp, the Jeanne must try to live her life normally. She attends school and other activities such as camping. She watches powerless as her family stands divided

The story begins in the early 1950’s in the town of Maycomb County, Alabama. The main character, nicknamed “Scout” or Jean Louise Finch, has a dad named Atticus Finch who is a reserved man and a lawyer.

The story:

The main character Moonshadow was eight years old and he lives in China with his mother and grandmother. He never seen his father before. One day he got a letter from his father in San Francisco. The letter said about Moonshadow’s father miss him and wanted him to come to San Francisco, Windrider, Moonshadow’s father live in San Francisco and try to find golds in the great Gold Rush. Moonshadow was excited and his mom and grandmother didn’t let him go because they don’t want these “White Demons”( white man in America) to kill him. However Moonshadow decided to sailed to San Francisco and saw his father.
